It's Our Annual Plastic Bag Challenge! Starting Monday (March 2nd) bring in those plastic bags so they can be recycled. I will post the top 3 classes weekly. You can count bags at home and send them in groups of 10 or just send them all. We are accepting bags daily in our homeroom classes.

Reminder, tomorrow, February 16 is a student and staff holiday! APISD will be closed in observance of Presidents Day. Classes resume Tuesday, February 17.

Good Afternoon Panther Nation! The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Due to the anticipated overnight freeze and potentially hazardous early morning road conditions, all APISD schools will have a two-hour delayed start tomorrow, Monday, January 26.
Class Times:
Faulk and Charlie Marshall Elementary: 9:45 AM - 3:15 PM
A.C. Blunt Middle School and APHS: 10:00 AM - 3:45 PM
Morning bus routes and pick-up times will also operate on a two-hour delay. Athletic and extracurricular coaches and sponsors will update their groups directly regarding any schedule changes.
Unless otherwise notified by a supervisor, APISD staff should plan to arrive two hours later than their usual start time.
Please continue to monitor district communication channels for updates. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Did you know that APISD will have no change to the overall tax rate with VATRE approval?
With the passage of the VATRE, the overall tax rate (Maintenance & Operations + Interest & Sinking) will be the same in 2025 as the 2024 rate of $0.8088 while generating approximately $936,611 in additional revenue for district operations. Learn more information about how this is possible and find answers to your questions by visiting www.apisd.org/page/vatre-faq. Have a question that’s not addressed?
