Good morning Panther Nation! Based on current travel conditions, the school day will proceed as normal today, Thursday, March 27. The APISD Transportation department, in coordination with the APPD, surveyed routes this morning, and as of now, there are no roads that are flooded found inside the city. As always, we encourage everyone to exercise caution when traveling. Administration will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day. Thank you to our Transportation team and the APPD for their hard work and diligence to help keep our students and staff safe!

Monitoring Weather
Good morning Panther Nation! Aransas Pass ISD administration is actively monitoring the forecast for potentially inclement weather on the evening of Wednesday, March 26 through Friday, March 28. Although we would all be grateful for the rain, based on information received from the National Weather Service, flooding is a possibility. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. In the event that travel conditions are anticipated to be unsafe, we will provide additional updates via email, phone call, text message, District social media accounts, and local news media. Stay safe Panthers!

Welding students had the opportunity to dive into the future and test out underwater welding today with The Ocean Corporation. Underwater welding is a growing field, and commercial divers are increasingly in demand. We’re excited for our students to get a glimpse of this job opportunity as an option for their futures! #WeAreAP #APExcellence
