The APISD Transportation department, in coordination with the APPD, surveyed routes this morning, and as of now, there are no roads that are flooded found inside the city. As always, we encourage everyone to exercise caution when traveling. Administration will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day. Good Afternoon Panther Nation! Due to anticipated inclement weather, all APISD schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st. At this time, the District expects to return to normal operations Wednesday, January 22nd. Administration will continue monitoring weather and road conditions. If there are additional changes to our schedule, we will share information via our website, official district social media accounts, texts, phone calls, and email, and via local media outlets. Stay safe and stay warm Panthers!

Although APISD is closed on Monday, January 20th, administration is actively monitoring the anticipated winter weather forecast in our area for early next week. An update will be provided to parents, guardians, and staff in the event of any delays or closures. Your safety is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding as we evaluate weather and road conditions and make decisions in the best interest of our students, staff, and community.
