UPDATE WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19 2:30PM: Pursuant to Board Policy BE(LEGAL), which states that a board that is prevented from convening an open meeting that was otherwise properly posted under Government Code 551.041 because of a catastrophe, including flood or rain storm, may convene the meeting in a convenient location within 72 hours pursuant to Government Code 551.045, the Aransas Pass ISD Board of Trustees will postpone the Special Meeting scheduled to occur on June 19, 2024 at 7PM. The Board of Trustees will instead convene this Special Meeting on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 7PM. The posted notice of the Special Board Meeting has been revised to reflect this change.

We will provide additional updates via the district app, official district social media accounts, and local news media regarding scheduling on Thursday, June 20. At this time, there are no anticipated delays or closures of the ACE Summer Program, the Summer Food Service Program, or the Athletic Department summer activities.
