It's Teacher Appreciation Week and we're sharing your shout-outs for your favorite teachers! Faulk Elementary parent Krystal nominates Ms. Tapia: "She is the absolute best, she helped my son reach all his goals that we had set for him at the beginning of the year. The way she advocates not only for my son but all her students is inspiring. She really does go above and beyond for her students. I personally love her because she keeps me informed with where my child is at academically and provides ways that I as a parent can help him in subjects he might struggling in. She is just an amazing teacher all the way around and really cares for our kiddos and their futures. My son said 'she’s the best teacher I know because she shares her library books. I love her with all my heart.'". Thank you Ms. Tapia! #TeacherAppreciationWeek #WeAreAP

You can tell she loves the children and her heart is in what she does. Our daughter has thrived in her class. She is encouraging. She listens to the kids and they feel that what they are saying is important. They feel like they are believed in. Their imaginations are encouraged. Ms. Diegel is a once in a lifetime teacher. A water main break occurred this morning, Wednesday, April 24 on West Nelson Avenue in front of Faulk Elementary. The City has rerouted the flow to ensure there is still water to the campus while repairs are made. Instruction will continue as normal. We ask parents and guardians to exercise extra caution when driving near the campus. Thank you to the City of Aransas Pass Public Works employees for responding to the situation so quickly.
